Pamela Carrington, Ph.D.

Director/Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Carrington's areas of expertise include adult and adolescent issues relating to mood and anxiety disorders, stress, chronic illness, and interpersonal relationships within an integrative/holistic philosophy. She is also experienced in psycho-educational testing for learning disabilities, attention disorders (ADHD), giftedness and test/performance anxiety in ages 7 to adult.

Michele Javorek, LPCC-S

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Ms. Javorek is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has worked in community mental health for the past 10 years. She has experience working with both adults and adolescents. Her areas of expertise include substance use assessment and treament for individuals and their families, depression, and anxiety.

Dorothea Polite, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Ms. Polite has worked for the past 18 years in a Community Mental Health Agency as a case-manager/therapist. Her special interests are anxiety, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and depression - mainly in men.

Ellen Severson, MSSA, LISW

Holistic Psychotherapist

Ellen Severson offers holistic psychotherapy to promote healing and growth for mind, body, and spirit. She has extensive experience with individuals, couples, families, children, and teens. Her expertise with Hypnotherapy and Art Therapy are available to address issues including stress and anxiety, weight management, self-esteem and confidence, chronic pain, sleep disorders, PTSD, hoarding, and many other challenging problems.

Theresa Grimm, LPC, NCC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Theresa Grimm is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor whose areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders, self-esteem concerns, substance use, and career guidance. Ms. Grimm has also served as an instructor of gender, sexuality, and women’s studies at the college level for many years, and her experience as an activist and educator in gender equality contributes greatly to her practice.

Chase Swaney, LPC, NCC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Mr. Swaney is both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor who has experience in the community mental health setting. He has worked with adults and children. His areas of clinical experience are stress & anxiety, depression, grief/loss, & substance use. He has a specialized interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ community & their unique concerns.
